Covell expressed her excitement, stating, "This is a super fun competition. I’m skating with girls I don’t usually skate with a lot. I definitely want to come next year. I’ve been having so much fun this year and when I’m having fun, that’s when I skate my best.”
Men’s Park Final Dynamics
The Men's Park final was a riveting competition featuring a head-to-head rivalry between Keegan Palmer and Bottger, both pushing each other to deliver their best tricks. With the pressure mounting towards the end, Bottger saved his standout moment for last, executing an around-the-world trick during his final run, which secured him the championship title to the delight of the audience.
Bottger reflected on the experience, saying, “Keegan can definitely put the pressure on. I blacked out on that run. But if any of us win or get the podium, it’s just awesome. We are all friends. Skating is not supposed to be super competitive. It’s fun. This event is fun. We just skate and hang out with everyone.” Palmer acknowledged the intensity, commenting, “Once I saw him alley-oop to 270, I knew it was game over.”
